We are accepting applications for News Team!
News Team information was presented to all current 4th grade students during library classes the week of March 21 – 28, 2024.
Timeline to apply for News Team:
April 2 – Applications process begins (applications posted on school website).
April 12 – Last day to turn in your application to Mr. Edeker. No late applications will be considered!
April 28 – Announcement of News Team members

FAQ:
Frequently asked questions:
Q: Can I be in both Safety Patrol and News Team?
A: NO! You cannot be in both Safety Patrol and News Team. If you have been selected for the Safety Patrol team you should not apply for the News Team as you cannot do both.
Q: Can I ride the bus to school during my duty?
A: No buses when you are on duty! Students will need alternate transportation on the weeks of their duty. Students are required to be in the library at 8:00.
Q: Will there be training if I am selected for the News Team?
A: There will be an orientation meeting during the month of May.
Q: When will I be on duty for the 2024-2025 school year?
A: The first day of 5th grade!!! Some students will be scheduled to work on the first day of school. A schedule will be provided for all members selected for a club.
